Connect Kyros to Slack
Kyros is a website-widget and video-avatar platform — not a prebuilt Slack app. You connect Slack through the actions of interactive cards and human handoff.
Framed honestly
Kyros lives on your website — as an embedded chat widget and a video avatar. There is no native one-click Slack app. The good news: you don’t need one. Through the actions of an interactive card, your assistant can call your own API, run your app’s code or fire a webhook — and that’s exactly how events land in Slack.
How events flow into Slack
- In Slack, create an incoming webhook (or workflow trigger) for the target channel and copy the URL.
- In Kyros, build an interactive card whose “Call an API / run app code / webhook” action targets that webhook URL.
- Design the card to collect the relevant details (e.g. request, email) and send them to Slack on submit.
- For handovers, use human handoff: when a conversation escalates, your team is notified in the same Slack channel.
Typical use cases
- Post new leads from the website chat straight into a sales channel.
- Mirror support escalations into a team channel via human handoff.
- Send approvals or notifications from card actions to Slack.
