How credits work
Kyros measures usage in credits. Every message uses credits, whether it comes in through the chat widget or the REST API. The Starter plan includes a monthly allowance, and Pro comes with more.
What the Starter plan covers
Starter is not a trial that runs out. It stays free and includes one assistant with a chat widget, a knowledge base with source links under answers, content moderation, and the AI notice and privacy panel in the widget. That is enough to build an assistant on your own pages, test it and add it to your website. When the monthly credits run short, or you need more assistants or teammates in your workspace, Pro is the next step.
Credits per message, by model
How many credits a message uses depends on the model. Each model shows its credits per message before you pick it. For models with reasoning, you also choose a level – low, medium or high – and each level is priced separately. The model picker lists the models in your plan; more models are available on higher plans.
Compare before you publish
With Compare models in Studio, you send the same question to two configurations side by side and see the model, reasoning level and credits per message for each column. That lets you check on your own questions whether a leaner model answers well enough before you publish a change.
Pro and Business on request
Pricing for Pro and Business is available on request. Use the to tell us how many assistants, members and messages you expect, and we will enable the right plan for your workspace. There is no online checkout.

What does Kyros cost?
The Starter plan costs €0 with no time limit and no credit card. It includes one assistant with a chat widget, the knowledge base with source links and monthly credits. Pro and Business add more credits, assistants, members and models, and Business also includes the audit log. Pricing for both is available on request through our contact form.
Is there a trial period?
No, there is no time-limited trial. Instead, the Starter plan stays free: you can build an assistant, connect it to your pages and add it to your website without a payment coming due after a few days. The limits are the monthly credits and the scope of the plan, for example one assistant.
What are credits?
Credits are the unit Kyros uses to measure usage. Every message uses credits. How many depends on the model: each model shows its credits per message before you pick it. For models with reasoning, each level – low, medium, high – is priced separately. The Starter plan includes a monthly allowance, and Pro includes more.
How do I move to a higher plan?
Pro and Business are available on request. Use the contact form to tell us what you need, such as more credits, more assistants, additional members or the audit log. We get back to you with a quote and enable the plan for your workspace. There is no online checkout, so you cannot upgrade by card in the dashboard.
Do I need a credit card?
No. You sign up for the Starter plan with an email address and password, and we do not ask for payment details. Because the plan is free with no time limit, it does not roll over into a paid subscription. If you later want Pro or Business, we sort out pricing and billing with you directly.
Is a DPA available?
Yes. We provide a data processing agreement (DPA) under Art. 28 GDPR; reach out through the contact form to get it. Kyros is hosted in Germany, with the API and database in Frankfurt. Messages are also processed by the provider of the AI model you choose, not always in Germany. According to our privacy policy, customer data is not used to train AI models.
